An investigation that started from a partnership between the school and the food industry. «The company had a production line of burgers that wasn't working for some years, due to the need of promotion and development of that line we were contacted and we are developing the fish burgers for the company», explains Rita Sousa.  

In addition to satisfy a business need, there are other purposes for the fish Burger. "Our project is to develop fish Burger with the aim of encouraging children and adults who dislike fish, to consume it. We have several species with which we work in particular mackerel, hake, salmon, the pollock and blue shark», said the researcher.
